Michelle Conlon lives just inside the Perimeter off Ashford Dunwoody in the Nancy Creek Heights Subdivision. A twin and the youngest of five children raised by a single mother, Michelle is a first generation college graduate. She graduated with BS in Biology- Organization and Systems. Michelle has accumulated a wealth of experience in both the private and public sectors.  While in college, Michelle worked for both the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) - Division of Water Pollution Control (WPC) and Knox County's Solid Waste Division.

In 1997, as the League of Women Voters (LWV) Natural Resources Chair for Knox County, Michelle was appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Energy to the Tennessee Valley Electric System Advisory Committee. Michelle was the only woman appointed and by far the youngest member to advocate for the inclusion of consumer and environmental protections in the committee’s final report.

Once in Atlanta, Michelle took a position as AFC Enterprises Communications Manager. She managed a variety of projects including the company’s Initial Public Offering (IPO), its Company Foundation and helped create its Business Code of Conduct. Michelle’s work was recognized with a Phoenix Award by the Georgia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). In 2006, she joined the Perimeter Transportation Coalition (PTC). Michelle had previously been on the PTC board while at AFC Enterprises. When the position at PTC opened up Michelle jumped at the chance to work in an area close to her home on an issue close to her heart. Today, Michelle works for a renewable energy firm based in Georgia.
